- City Comptroller John Liu says the NYC's Economic Development Corporation owes the city $125 million. Liu also said of the agency, which is involved in redevelopment projects like Willets Point and Coney Island, "It has become a powerhouse agency, but we have very little understanding of what comes in and out of it."
- A Pennsylvania prosecutor said that Laura Garza, the Brooklyn woman who went missing in 2008 and whose body was found earlier this month, was not killed in Pennsylvania, which means NY will have jurisdiction over the case.
