Bloomberg Wants Next Justice To Be Pro-Choice

042710bloomberg.jpg At the NARAL Pro-Choice NY luncheon yesterday, Mayor Bloomberg said he would want Obama to nominate a Pro-Choice justice to replace Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, saying he should be "succeeded by someone just as strongly committed to upholding Roe v. Wade." He also announced that as long as he is mayor, he will support the right to choose. "It is their [a woman's] right — we will always protect it." NARAL Pro-Choice America president Nancy Keenan said of the vacancy, "opponents of women's freedom and privacy will use this vacancy on the Court as an opportunity to further their attacks on nominees who have taken pro-choice positions. America's pro-choice majority will fight back."

Perhaps someone should abort Bloomberg. (Vote him out of office) More and more people are going against abortion. Soon, it will illegal and only the common smut will try to kill their baby. They will rot in jail where they belong, like Susan Smith and all of the other Mothers who murder their children. There will be a day when the Mothers who murder their children will be arrested, along with their boyfriends, johns, husbands, or anyone else who knew and did nothing to help the baby.

  • wow 14th street

I guess that leaves any candidate from Oklahoma

    out and S.Carolina too.

Odd to think we would go backwards and have to take

that night flight to PR again as in days of old to

    cease a pregnancy.

Does he really think there's even the tiniest, most miniscule chance that Obama would choose a pro-lifer?

Its a shame that just one issue tends to pervert the entire process of selecting a Supreme Court Justice.

It's not about Abortion. Its about the interpretation of the Constitution as well as the third branch of government. Its a shame how everyone seems to forget that.

  • Wait, like a judge that supported the law? & upheld the Constitution? Isn't that...oh wait I forgot about how some people hate civil rights. Right, I forgot about the theocrats. No duh the next Justice should be Pro-Choice-- it is weird that there are people out there who aren't.
