Librarian Sex Survey Finally Sees Light Of Day!

poseylibrary.jpg Back in 1992 Will Manley conducted a survey amongst librarians for an in-house trade publication called the Wilson Library Bulletin, printed in the Bronx. He was fired for the scandalous survey, which never saw the light of day... until now. The Daily News points out that he has published the results on his website, asking "Should I have gotten canned for this?"

The survey reached 5,000 librarians, who answered questions about sex amongst the stacks and elsewhere. Survey says!:

  • 51% said they would pose nude for money.
  • 61% have rented an x-rated movie.
  • 91% have read "The Joy of Sex."
  • 20% have had sex in a library.
  • 22% felt that libraries should have condom dispensers in their bathrooms.
Have times changed? Well, today they'd probably pick different celebs to fantasize about—back then Robert Redford and Kathleen Turner took the top slots.
