Teens Arrested After UWS Mugging

2010_04_cpwm.jpg Police caught two teens who allegedly mugged a man on the Upper West Side early yesterday morning. According to the Daily News, "Joshua Roman, 17, and Kaseem Garden, 16, struck after they crept behind their unsuspecting victim on W. 73rd St. near Central Park West just before 2:30 a.m." They "claimed to have a gun as they confronted their target and demanded his money," but when the man hesitated, they punched him, took his phone and took off towards the park. The victim was able to flag down a police car near Columbus Avenue. The suspects, who were chased through the park by cops, did not have a weapon.

Bet they were black too. Once again where are the parents? High on drugs themselves? Or maybe the mother has to work 3 jobs because the father is in jail.
