Tracy McGrady Says LeBron Isn't Big Apple-Bound

040510lebron.jpg Those dreams of LeBron leading the Knicks to their first championship since 1973 and then chomping down on some Shake Shack in celebration may slowly be coming to an end. During a press conference after yesterday's win against the Clippers, Tracy McGrady said of a possible LeBron move, "To me, in my honest opinion, I don't see it happening...It's set for him right now."

However, he may just be saying this because he's starting to hate on his team. Head Coach Mike D'Antoni reportedly does not want McGrady back next year, and McGrady apparently joked that free agents don't want to play for the Knicks because of some newspaper reporters traveling with the team. McGrady said there is no guarantee he will return to the Knicks. "This is definitely my final run and I want to make sure this is the right decision...I'm not looking to go in anywhere and be the man again. My time on that is past."

So playing for the Knicks may be out for LeBron, but what about the new Brooklyn Nets? The new majority owner is a Russian billionaire and part-owner Jay-Z is pretty close with LeBron—if they can't tempt him, maybe some delicious, FLOTUS-approved Grimaldi's pizza will?

nyc is good for people who are famous, but not super-mega-famous. i mean for living.

cleveland works fine for lebron. not too many people to hassle him. can keep his ego in check. everyone loves you and you know who they are. etc, etc, etc.

The finals this June's gonna be real tight, showdown between Kobe & LeBron.

Word to Kobe, LeBron will take that shit away.

I reportedly don't want Mike D'Antoni back next year. Lebron was never coming to the Knicks. Tracy McGrady is yet another tarnished relic that washed up on the shores of the Manhattan.

James is from Cleveland, which will likely have a contending team for several more years. Who knows what disarray the Knicks will still be in. Only the extra endorsement money might get him here.

Why the F would Lebron come to the Nets? He could be Jay-Z's twin brother and he still wouldn't go.

& McGrady, your a waste. Go back home & wrap those knees in more ice packs. The Knicks should never have picked up your contract.
