Sarah Palin Takes Aim at Weiner's Criticism

Last week, Rep. Anthony Weiner called out Sarah Palin for using violent language on Twitter to rally her supporters, saying that some people may take her call for violence literally. Well, Palin, most famous for her upcoming reality TV show, certainly wasn't going to let some East Coast hopey changemonster tell her what to do!

She retaliated with a Facebook message to all the NCAA teams playing in March Madness. It's filled with gun imagery cheeky italics for your convenience. "In the battle, set your sights on next season’s targets! From the shot across the bow - the first second’s tip-off - your leaders will be in the enemy’s crosshairs, so you must execute strong defensive tactics." Uffda!

The title of her note is "Warning: Subject to New Politically Correct Language Police Censorship," suggesting that she is responding to Weiner's criticism. He had previously said about her violent language, "What might seem as an obvious metaphor for some people may seem like an invitation for someone else." The condemnation came after a white powder incident in his Kew Gardens office, where he received a threatening letter related to his vote on health care. No word yet on a Weiner Facebook retaliation involving the upcoming baseball season. [Via Daily News]

As to "letting her go on..." thanks to Maverick McCain, who has also lost his mind to radical ambition and lying, do we have a choice? Sarah Palin is the gift that, unfortunately, will keep on giving.

"Political correctness" means "any strident or nasty language that *I* want to use." For example, making fun of small-town folks or christians isn't being politically incorrect, it's indulging in hate speech and should be condemned by all 'common-sense' Americans. Attacking city folk or liberals? Just good clean fun, and if you criticize it (for example, for being inaccurate and inflammatory)... well, then, you're just being politically correct.
