Airline Introduces Women-Only Bathrooms

restroomladies0210.jpg Will unisex bathrooms on planes soon vanish into thin air? CNN is reporting that Japanese airline All Nippon Airways is introducing women-only lavatories on its international routes starting next week, though they have no plans to designate men-only facilities. The move came after many customers spoke up asking for the separation, but the airline says there are exceptions—such as when a restroom is required for safety reasons or "when there are very few female passengers." A poster at FlyerTalk said, "The lavatories are scarce enough already. The last thing we need is more restriction of choice."

Women take worst dumps than guys FACT!

Back in college, I found out the cleaning staff hated cleaning the women's bathrooms in the dorms far more because not only were they bigger slobs, but also excessive chemical use. It seems mascara is just about the hardest mess to remove. Adding nail polish, foundation, etc doesn't help.

mr. sharpton, we have an issue here. no, no, it's not your usual routine--but it does involve half the population.

for a long time i lived under the false assumption that i, as a male, was messier in the bathroom than females since my mom and sister always yelled about leaving the seat down and peeing on it. well, suprise, surprise. once i grew up and went out on my own i found that sure, little kids pee everywhere, but as for adults, women are messier than the guys

The messiness thing was only conjecture from somebody on FlyerTalk. It's just as likely that it has to do with the longer duration of women's bathroom visits. Men can just unzip, whip it out, do number 1, zip up and hopefully wash hands. Women have to go through a whole rigmarole of dropping their pants or skirts plus undergarments, having to wipe dry and readjusting everything when they're finished. Same reason some establishments now give more stalls in ladies rooms than in mens rooms.

Just ignore the little holes drilled in the lavatory walls.

    The Japanese fetishize everything.

The Japanese are taking this thing too far. Women can be far more messy in the bathroom then men are.

This works better on subways to prevent perverted men, not on passenger aircraft.

How about a mens bathroom that's tall enough so that those of use over 6 feet don't have to lean backwards with their forehead press against the fuselage so they can pee?

  • silver

There are no Japanese men over 6 feet tall.

  • hotstepper
