Queens Man, And Dog, Shocked On Sidewalk

phpuTmoVsAM.jpg A Queens man and his dog are the latest victims of stray voltage. According to WPIX, 52-year-old James Evans was walking his dog Max in Far Rockaway at 2 p.m. yesterday when he felt a shock. Max managed to pull away after a few yelps, but Evans says he couldn't move.

Guess what happened next? Max saved him! He dragged his owner away from the electrical current to safety. Or as Evans put it: "The dog is screaming and he drags me across the street and it's a good thing I was holding the chain or I would have been staying there dead."

Max suffered burns to his paws, and his hair color allegedly changed from the shock he received—from black to brown. As for Evans, he checked himself into the hospital after the emergency unit that arrived declined to let his dog, who he calls his hero, into the ambulance.

It's believed the high voltage current came from faulty wiring at a church on Cornaga Avenue, and power has since been shut down there.

damn, dogs are the best and yet we have puppy mills and Westminster. Shame on us.

Yeah. Shame on us for making more of these animals. We should know better and make sure that future generations are not saved from electrical currents by a purebreed dog.

Way to hijack the thread for your own (dumb) political agenda, Felix. And you wonder why people don't like you.
