Finally, Natavia Lowery Pantsgate Gets Some Attention

Last week, we suggested that Natavia Lowery's pants were different after coming out of Linda Stein's apartment on the day of her murder (Lowery is currently on trial for bludgeoning her former boss to death). While originally it looked like she had changed them, a commenter specified that she had turned them inside out.

Though the surveillance tape had been reviewed in the trial already, with the defense pointing out (and making it a big part of their opening statements) that no blood spatters were on their client's pants... none of this has been brought up. Until now! Looks like the NYPD Forensics Division needs to put some blog commenters on the payroll.

Now, the Post has picked up on this and reports that "prosecutors declined to say when, and through what testimony, they intend to alert jurors to the theory that Lowery simply turned her pants inside out before leaving the blood-splashed apartment." They also note that yesterday a sergeant with Manhattan North Homicide told the jury that he got a search warrant for Lowery's apartment, where no cargo pants were found.

Not to be a curmudgeon...but I find it really annoying that Coolo is getting all this praise when I'm the one who sent this info in to Gothamist and even suggested pants inside out in my "tipster" email.

Anytime anyone contacts me I state Gothamist ran story first then Goodblogstay picked it up. They deserve the attention I just commented on what I had noticed.

So here's the backstory...I'm a stay at home mom with a newborn, who happened to nap that AM and allowed me the time to watch the lowery video about 15 times in a row. Initially I watched it a couple times because I couldn't believe someone working for anyone famous would wear those ugly ass pants...much less KHAKI! Cargo khaki pants, ugh...anyway, then I realized those hideous cargos were missing. I didn't know what to do, I initally emailed via FB, Mandy Stein (I know. I know, totally silly, but in this day and age I didn't know what to do, call the NYPD and say, Hey, I'm just some moron reading the NY Daily News online and I think something's up with Natavia Lowery's pants.) So I sent the "tip" to Gothamist thinking nothing would come of it, saying, I don't think those are the same pants. Well, in a few hrs, there's a post, so I email back my theory of inside out and, also, that she's buying drugs from the doorman...I was hesitant to even put comments on this since it appears the Lowery family is NUTS...I just don't want some innocent ninja to get blamed...or her poor, poor daughters.

Either way no difference to me just wanted the truth to be known, Your beef is with Gothamist.

When gothamist ran the story they said "Did Lowery Change Pants On Day Of Stein's Murder"?

I commented that the pants was inside out. I was # 11@9:47pm on that post and you were #10 @9:35pm in that post you said "Those are quite obviously two different sets of pants.

She's probably wearing Linda's pants, since she felt it was ok to help herself to her money,

why no pants too? The coloring has nothing to do with it, that could be explained away by the

type of camera and different daylight...but those pants no longer have hideous cargo pockets.

Also, what's she doing with that doorman at the end of the video, possibly buying drugs?

They touch hands and she puts something in her pocket. I doubt they're passing notes."

Hello,

Everyone I am Matlock and I want to thank everyone for their comments. I just want to add this is not a race issue anyone can steal, murder etc.. It is a mental issue

Let's just pray for Lowery, and hope she has repented for her actions. (stealing, and perhaps murdering a human person) Also let's hope she realizes the seriousness of things which transpired.

A Note to the family: Please stop attaching everyone,just pray for her and get her the help she is begging you guys for. I know you guys love her but love her enough to realize she needs help. The truth is harsh, this I know but think about it this way if had you guys had paid more attention to her thievery ways and made sure she received help for her compulsion. She would not have been in his position in the 1st place.

What the French ... are you praying for the daughter Mrs. Stein left behind, after all she was someone's mother. What about the victims & their families?!

sexisicilian Yes I am praying for her and I had already stated twice before we should pray for Stein's family especially her daughters who endured so much since the death of their mother.
