Guliani Buys a Place in Florida

21210guliani.jpg Notable consultant-for-hire and possible amnesiac Rudy Giuliani has bought a little $1.4 million place for himself and the wife in Florida. The condo is located in a "swanky" Palm Beach building called the Southlake. The Guliani's also own a Palm Beach Towers condominium, which they bought in 2004 for $410,000. Although Giuliani has not said anything about retiring from his lucrative consulting gig (and numerous television appearances), we kind of imagine it'll be like that episode of Seinfeld where Kramer retired to Florida and runs for condo board president of Del Boca Vista phase III.

You can be sure that Giuliani will demand management institute strict security in that building. The current residents will soon be living in the Führer bunker. Cameras, pat down checks of all visitors, guards, dogs, motion detectors- the whole nine yards.

"Hello, Bernie! This is Rudy. Sorry that I wasn't there to put in a few good words for you at your sentencing... you know how it is. Judy wanted to fly to Paris to buy a new handbag. (The old one will go really well with that light blue dress I wore to... oh. Not the kind of thing to talk about with a man in prison, I guess. OK) The reason I'm writing is that Judy & I bought a place in Palm Beach and there are a few things that need to be redone. I wanted to know if you'd give me tha names of those contractors you used for your house up in Westchester... and would you put in a good word for me with them. You know what I mean, right old buddy?"

"Guliani Buys a Place in Florida"

Who gives a fuck what Guliani does? Who the fuck is he anyway?

  • MrManhattan

In Palm Beach they consider themselves the "Sixth Borough" Hopefully Piccolo Duce will believe that as well, and not bother the real ones ever again.

    9-11 Ugh What's that?

I kind of imagine it will be just one more instance of running a business in New York as a Florida resident, and saving a bundle on income taxes.

And for Ms Judy no inheritance taxes.

Well, there goes the neighborhood. Since Rudy was clearly the target on 9-11 and remains a wanted man by Osama, he puts all of southern FL in danger. When you see him installing the 700 gallon diesel fuel storage tank and the emergency generator in the poolhouse, you'll know it's time to leave the hood. Ed.: check yr spelling of Giuliani. You know you can't spell it without 911. Amirite?
