Murder-Suicide Mom "Felt Helpless"

The father of the autistic boy found dead at the Peninsula Hotel Friday—allegedly killed by his mother—says Gigi Jordan was a totally devoted mom. “She was not a killer," said Emil Tzekov through tears. ... I cannot understand." Jordan, a successful pharmaceutical rep, even quit her job to be a better parent to little Jude. OK, not everything was copacetic: Tzekov, a successful yoga instructor, revealed that he hadn’t seen his son since 2007 because Jordan blocked his emails and cut off service to her cell phone.

The last time Tzekov saw his boy—who died from an overdose of prescription drugs, police think—he was going through surgery to strengthen his immune system. But after that, his ex-wife went off the grid with the child; the dad even hired a private detective to look for them, friends of the family say. Still, the discovery in the $2,300-a-night hotel suite shocked him completely. "To take a life for no reason, it's just impossible," he said. "She loved him. Always."

So far Jordan—a Trump International Hotel & Tower resident—is charged with second-degree murder. Her son’s official cause of death is pending, says WCBSTV. According to the Daily News in 90% of the cases, the motive of crimes like this one is “what the scientists term ‘altruistic,’ meaning the mother somehow believes the child will be better off dead along with her. Such killings are sometimes called ‘extended suicides.’” Tzekov gave reason to believe his ex-wife was distressed seeing her son in pain, something she also mentioned in her suicide note. “She felt helpless," he said.

So far mentions of rape and child pornography in the final letter haven’t been explained.

    “She was not a killer,"

    Apparently, she is.

The father hasn't seen the child since 2007? Doesn't seem he was that bothered by not seeing him even given the fact that he hires a private detective to find him.

Truly tragic such a cute kid and a great smile and I can hear his laughter as I look at his picture. RIP little guy.

It's our fakakta court system, which systematically awards children to mothers in most divorce cases. Here, the mother was clearly in no shape to raise the boy. We need a father's rights law.

Too much doesn't make sense in this story. I have a feeling all the unpleasant details will be slowly uncovered. So sad about the child though.

    Truly amazing.

At one time they dated each other. Then loved each other decided to get married and have a child. After all that she takes her son away from the dad and goes wacko.
