Child Porn Mentioned in Socialite Mom's Suicide Note

A note left by Gigi Jordan—the socialite mom who allegedly killed her 8-year-old son in a murder-suicide attempt—suggests child pornography and sexual abuse played a role in the rich woman's desperate act. "I hope Jude is in a better place," wrote the Belgian multi-millionaire, going on to suggest that her autistic son was the victim of rape.

Jordan was found with a faint pulse yesterday morning, sitting next to her dead son on the floor of the five-star Peninsula Hotel, with pills littered about. The onetime pharmaceutical exec was “babbling” when she was taken away. According to Deputy Police Commissioner Paul Browne she "made statements implicating herself in her son's death." Police sources told the NY times an overdose of prescription drugs most likely caused the death.

In the note Jordan mentions speaking with a Wyoming child porn investigator who "told me many rich people are involved. Many wealthy guys trade child porn like a hobby." So far it’s unclear what to make of the scandalous prose since the 49-year-old—who is currently at Bellevue in critical condition—was and is in a questionable mental state, distraught by a recent divorce. In the note the she also makes reference to huge $12 million and $8 million checks she wrote to Doctors Without Borders and the Red Cross for Haiti relief efforts, but so far they have no records of the donations.

what she did is nuts, but what she said about wealthy people and child pornography is absolutely true. i used to work in the house of another socialite in manhattan. the husband and all his associates both in government and insurance talked about it, almost matter of fact.

and it seems none could enter their circle unless they partook in such activity. maybe like some kind of security, if you get all that money you have to be able to become blackmailed later on.

That's an amazing perspective you must have had. You should write a blog about your experiences.

Why do people this crazy have millions of dollars while people like me are struggling to survive. It's not fair. She could write a check to me if she'd like.

  • ANGRYGOD11

She was too concerned about your well-being to write that check.

$20 million is exactly the amount St. Vincent's needed. Oh the irony.

And if she does pull through and is put on trial, you can bet you will see this Belgian waffle.

The way I see it this woman has two goals left in life:

    1. Ensure that every last cent of her wealth goes to charity.

    2. And then quickly and quietly kill herself.

Belgian? You should have said so sooner. Whew! What a relief. I get it now.

"told me many rich people are involved. Many wealthy guys trade child porn like a hobby."

hmm, so having lots of money can cause many men to be pedophiles? should a warning tag go on with jobs that make millions of dollars, like the warnings they put on cigarettes?

  • Double suicide? You mean murder-suicide?
