Video: Do You Want to Believe in UFOs Over Williamsburg?
Free Williamsburg found this YouTube video taken by a UFO enthusiast, supposedly from his back yard in Williamsburg. Does it show an alien ship with pretty changing colors, or is this how a star looks when a stoned scenester messes with the auto-focus? It's difficult to tell from this vantage point whether the alien star people will kill the hipsters or merely enslave them, but one thing is certain: there is no stopping them. And we here at Gothamist would like to welcome our new alien overlords, and remind them that we can be helpful in rounding up others to work in their underground ironic T-shirt factories.
Of course, this isn't the first time aliens have considered settling in New York City, but in the end they just can't do without the comfort of their suburban home planet. Still, this is their first documented visit to Williamsburg, so maybe they'll finally be won over by the "happening" nightlife and the new Duane Reades.

OK so your film professor at NYU said with your talent you should probably go to a school for aspiring accountants and you said, "I'll show him."

i've heard that you can manipulate laser beams to create the image seen on the video. pretty expensive equipment i'd say, but it's been done for decades now.
