  • Today on the Gothamist Newsmap: man hit by train at Atlantic Ave on the 4, baby DOA in Brooklyn, carbon monoxide incident in Chinatown.
  • Perhaps realizing that buying a $350K Maybach for his 16 year old son (and renting a gold crown and two thrones for the birthday party!) made him look a little insanely profligate, PDiddy made sure to give some cash to a homeless man outside the party.
  • John Edwards's sex tape is actually a pregnant sex tape. Sorry to be the one to break it to you.
  • The official emblem of the African Burial Ground in Tribeca turns out not to be African at all.
  • Rafael Rabinovich-Arda, the 21 year old accused of the Jewelry store stickup and shooting at the Waldorf last year, plead guilty and will get 15 years in jail.
  • On April 12th, the Wall Street Journal will launch a new local section for New York, with a $15MM budget and a staff of 35 reporters.
  • Turns out the city forked over another $35MM to Forest City Ratner to buy land for Atlantic Yards. This stadium better be MINDBLOWING.

that update had a lot in it.

Low life Diddy, Insane with shame Edwards................ and you can bet the city/mta are going to be putting on the poor mouth all the while they are giving MILLIONS to Ratner.

The problem with the WSJ is that Rupert Murdoch owns it. The reporting will be just like Fox News & the NY Post, lousy! I don't even bother with WSJ (Financial Fox News) anymore as it is. It will be interesting to see it get worse.

wow what an idiot in that picture. maybe he didn't notice the signs everywhere stating not to go near animals like raccoons due to confirmed cases of RABIES in central park
