Video: Bin Laden Takes Credit for Xmas Attack, More Terror to Come

In his first address of the year Osama Bin Laden took credit for the failed Christmas day underwear bombing of Northwest flight 253 over Michigan, and warned that more attacks on our country are imminent. "The United States will not dream of enjoying safety until we live it in reality in Palestine," threatened the 9/11 mastermind, via the Arabic-language news site Al-Jazeera.

Of the Flight 253 attack by a Nigerian man a voice—not yet confirmed as bin Laden’s—said: "The message delivered to you through the plane of the heroic warrior Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was a confirmation of the previous messages sent by the heroes of September 11," reported AP. However, since Al Qaeda’s North African branch is believed to operate independently of bin Laden, some experts think the terrorist leader did not plan the attack, but is claiming responsibility to appear powerful. "The strategy is there, outlined by the mother leadership and now we will see the branches doing their best to please their leadership and implement al Qaeda vision in their own ways," Mustafa Al-Ani a security expert at the Gulf Research Center told CNN.

Bin Laden also warned the United States of future attacks and provided what senior advisor David Axelrod called “the same hollow justification for the slaughter of innocent people." "God willing our attacks will continue as long as you support the Israelis and may peace be on those who follow guidance," said the voice.

See, that's the point exactly, even if the Arabs were to slaughter every last Jew in Israel, Bin Laden would still be waging war against America for it's support of Israel in Lebanon during the 80's. These guys carry a grudge the way a hipster without health care carries an STD - FOREVER!

It's refreshing to see something a *little* like an intelligent discussion here. Even a couple of facts came out.

Bin Laden may have a 1000 reasons to hate all kinds of people, but one thing is clear: the less shit the USA stirs up, the less people will want to commit acts of terrorism against us and our alies. Bin Laden is just one man; it's everyone else we need to convince and that takes constructive action, not more warmongering. Every day Israel pushes us into a corner that makes *us* the evil ones. Israel has a lot of growing up to do, and we--as its #1 sugardaddy--need to be a good parent and show it some tough love.

You're forgetting the fact that he's also waging war against the British Empire for their Imperialism. Don't believe me? Read the text of his, and other Al-Queda members, last couple of videos. There will be no pleasing Bin Laden or anyone else like him - Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc. They get paid to make war, and they'll never put themselves out of a good paying job like that with 100% job security. You think they sit around and go "gee, wouldn't it be great if we one day could all live in peace?" Stop deluding yourself and WAKE UP!
