Usually any goat news we hear about has to do with one of the animals wandering around the streets of New York. But today the NY Post reports that the Central Park Zoo has just welcomed a cute new baby goat to its family.

The droopy-eared Mini-Nubian goat (pictured at just 8 days old and 10 lbs) was born on zoo grounds on January 12th to another goat there named Angel. He also has an older sister. And while he's yet to receive a name, Zoo curator Susan Cardillo has been calling him "funky" and notes that he bounces around a lot. Go visit him (and his big sis) in the petting zoo!

    Yummy. Gyro on the hoof.

Lucky he was not born in Washington Heights. His head would already be chopped off for a Santeria ritual.
