re the Skull & Crossbones skull. there have been rumors for decades that the skull belongs to Geronimo. not sure if this had anything to do with it. of course, it's probably just plain illegal to auction off ANY human skull without determining provenance, just to make sure it's not stolen or evidence in some ghastly goings-on.
