  • A Bronx church that has been defaced with "gang talks, devil talk, and trash talks," trashed and burned soldiers on. Its youth group leader is still amazed, "We never had any disputes with anybody on the block. Especially anybody in a gang. We never had any threats."
  • The Danish authorities say they thwarted a plot to kill the 75-year-old Danish artist who once drew a cartoon of the Prophet Moahmmed. A "28-year-old Somalia man...armed with an ax and a knife" was arrested.

    Delta Air Lines just can't seem to catch a break. It was just yesterday that a Northwest flight was diverted to Tennessee on its way to Orlando from Detroit over a suspicious package that turned out to be a Christmas ornament.
