  • Removing "stage" from "stage adaptation" doesn't fix the inaccuracy of referring to a play that centers around a word-for-word reading of Gatsby as an adaptation. It's not.

  • please correct:

Eight American civilians were killed today in Afghanistan, not soldiers.

  • rosweed

The four Canadian soldiers don't deserve a mention?

  • Snoopy

How many of them were "contractors?"

  • longacre

They were CIA workers, not clear what capacity they were in.

  • NannyState

I bet there's a body at the bottom of that mug.

  • Snoopy

No WAY! That would throw off the record attempt.

I believe thatCocoa Pebbles with milk in the same size cup would have more marshmallows.

  • Snoopy

That is really a pathetic scene with the hot chocolate mug.

What might I ask is the publicity value of a rainbow coalition of smiling kids dipping into a vat of hot chocolate after they took a dump and forgot to wash their hands?

Who's up next, a bunch of homeless retards trying to get a hot cup without the marshmallows?

  • While I love The Great Gatsby, I'm hesitant about watching a play in which people read it aloud over six hours when I could just read it myself in two. It's almost diabolical, what they're doing, because the play itself is supposed to be amazing, and the book is amazing, but it's still six hours. I would probably have no problem with the running time if I wasn't a smoker.

hope the hot chocolate didn't go to waste...

  • I bet it tastes of Purell.
