Who Are The Worst Muppets?

Can any Muppet really be that bad? This website has come up with a list of what they say are the 10 worst Muppets ever, or as they put it: "Even the best shows on television have bad characters... here is the real list of Muppets who suck." Pepe the Prawn comes in at #1 — but isn't it at least endearing that there's a prawn-inspired Muppet? Also on the list: Kermit's nephew Robin, Mr. Poodlepants, Clifford, and... Dr. Bunsen Honeydew! For shame, list makers. Who are your least favorite Muppets?

This douchebag blogger claims he has the "real" list of Muppets that suck, like it makes it any more correct than the lists made up by the other pretentious blogger douchebags out there.

I find it interesting how harsh the criticisms were of these characters. This dude has some issues me-thinks. For the most part, even if a character sucked.. The writing more or less saved them. The whole muppet show success is attributed to the writing.. Not just character design. Whatevss

Most Muppets outside of the originals blow, really. They really don't add much. It's like the new guys want to leave their mark, so they come up with "fresh ideas" that they think will last.

Elmo is fucking annoying, so he would be my tip pick. But I never did like Sesame Street. Always trying to be so happy and cheerful. Everything is so cloying.

This list is wrong, all wrong. The explanations are all jive and the choices seem like the characters that the blogger himself finds most annoying.

After watching a Sesame Street retrospective over the holidays, I think the only bad addition is Elmo, and only because of his voice, but I'm not going to go make a list about it. OK, I will.

I agree with the whole list except for Dr. Bunson Honeydew, who was not exactly a well rounded character, but was brilliant satire. And Scooter was bearable, but one of the weaker muppets.

I noticed that most of the truly annoying characters come from the spinoffs, not the original Muppet Show.
