Can The Giants Stay In The Playoff Hunt?

2009_12_giants28.jpg Barring a miracle, this will be the last game for the Giants at Giants’ Stadium and New York desperately needs a win. While Monday’s thrashing of Washington kept their playoff hopes alive, the Giants still have a lot of work to do and need a lot of help.

Step one is beating a Carolina team that looked very good against the Vikings last week. The Panthers have a dangerous pass rush, led by Julius Peppers. Peppers will give the Giants’ offensive line fits, especially because they are probably going to miss two starters- Kareem McKenzie and Rich Seubert. On defense, the Giants also have injury concerns, as they will probably be without both Aaron Ross and Corey Webster.

So, it will be a depleted Giants’ team that heads into the game today, but they will have a lot of emotion on their side. The fans, many of who are priced out of the new place will be in full voice and that emotion will carry New York to a narrow victory.

No, they're getting destroyed by the Panthers atm.

That interception was classic. I'm just watching for the entertainment of seeing the Giants loose horribly in their own stadium.
