Look Jen, Santa is like super-busy this time of year - he's just not going to have the time to read all those letters, which, by the way have very challenging penmanship, especially for an old dude who already has to wear glasses. He also probably has some type II Diabetes messing w/ him from all that Coca-Cola he's been pounding over the years.

It's OK though, because he keeps a list, see, so he knows who's naughty and who's nice. He knows what you want, so if you've been a good girl, and your parents are rich, you'll get it.
