  • Rangers 2 Philadelphia 1: It’s taken almost a month, but the Rangers have finally won back-to-back games again. Henrik Lundqvist carried New York to victory, stopping 36 shots, 16 of which occurred in a frantic third period. Artem Anisimiov had the game-winner in the second period, his 7th goal of the year.
  • Devils 5 Atlanta 4: Martin Brodeur was awful allowing three goals on six shots, but the Devils came back after he left the game. Yann Danis allowed only one goal over the remaining two periods while Dean McAmmond scored twice to help spur the Devils to victory.
  • Montreal 3 Islanders 0: Despite 40 shots on goal, the Islanders could not break through. Montreal converted three power-play goals and Martin Biron took the loss.
  • Lakers 103 Nets 84: A halftime lead quickly disappeared in the third quarter and the Nets fell to 2-26.
