Real Housewife Bares All for PETA

PETA has wrangled themselves another cougar (cheetah?) for their "I'd Rather Go Naked" campaign. Last month it was 1979 Olympic gold medalist figure skater Tai Babilonia, and now it's Bethenny Frankel from the Real Housewives of New York. There's video!

According to People, her billboard is located in Times Square. Frankel said in a statement: “I used to wear fur. I went to a cocktail party, walked outside on Fifth Avenue, and a PETA protester was holding up a skinned animal. I looked at it, and it made me sick. I felt disgusting. That day was a huge change, and since then I’ve really been against fur. I’m cleaning out my closets — trim, everything. I don’t see any reason for cruelty.” Full ad after the jump (NSFW, we suppose).

I love ya Betthany, but this photo is airbrushed within an inch of its life. Is it even technically you anymore??

But back on topic...if i could afford fur, I'd wear it without shame!! Fortunately for our furry little friends, I am as poor as a church mouse. Look for me selling batteries on the F train!!

  • mouser

why does it matter??? she wore fur, now she doesn't, super! she sounds like a child, long island child.

all you have to do is not buy fur if you are sooooo against it. pose nude??? that is for attention, and girlfriend needs that. ugly that she uses a cause like animal cruelty for her own platform, which is what???? who is the animal??

and hey, you guys that wanna hit that, probably not gonna happen, just keep surfin' porn. y'all are useless in any cause, really useless.

  • bethhenny-

you KNEW everyone was gonna talk shit on you...not because of the nude, because we totally want to see that, but more because of the photoshop and all the fakeness and fixing of this photo..which makes you look like you're in a john waters film.(how awesome was female trouble)..anyways

Dont be mad at all of us,be pissed at the clowns that approved this pic.

..Because you look incredible in that video.

  • Willie Nillie

I would lick all of that

  • ColSanders3000

Have to say that I'm still digging my new sheepskin rug.

  • dgeee

    She has a lovely ass.

  • brooklynmouthoff

    what's wrong with her face?

  • farleft

God gave her a nice ass. Can't have everything, ya know.

  • zodak

you anti-peta people really should watch the video.

  • whitecastlerock

Yes, stupid ad campaigns will stop people from wearing fur... Without question.

  • chorosch

I walk by this billboard every day, and there is no way that head and that body are from the same person. Not only did they photoshop her face, they stuck it on a model's body. Gross.

  • thefacts

You expect honesty and ethics from the people-haters at PETA?

  • chorosch

I wasn't really thinking about PETA. I was talking about whatever re-touching agency they hired to completely transform the woman.

  • Amanda Harletsch

people haters? as in they eat people?

WTF are you talking about! simple minded biggot.

  • potsmoker

All those housewives have the skin texture of an old saddle. thats alot of photoshopping.

id rather see a saggy cat lady in a trailer with nipple hairs.

  • Anonymous Lost Cause

I cannot understand why PETA aligns itself with these ridiculous people over and over again. I would never in a million years wear fur, and I have been vegetarian most of my adult life, and it has nothing at all to do with a presumed affection for c- and d-list idiots going naked. Over and over again they come out with these ads that are meant to be sexy in the way that beer ads are meant to be sexy (i.e., really plastic-y looking people) and it is just so stupid. There are plenty of good reasons not to wear fur, and the best they can come up with is "this naked girl, who is obviously in desperate need of publicity, told us she wouldn't wear it so you shouldn't either"?? Not to mention that most of these women end up being photographed in fur a year or two later!

  • Amanda Harletsch

they're not preaching to the converted, a matter of audiences.

  • HughGass

I'm glad I wore my jacket with the fur collar today (I'm pretty sure it's cat fur).

  • jjazznola

3 points: She's not naked in the video (she's wearing panties), that picture looks nothing like her and my, she is obnoxious!

  • CitrineNYC

Ummm, okay PETA. I get it. I don't wear fur. I don't want others to wear fur, but ultra Photoshoping the skinny-assed, tan-lined quasi "famous" person to make her look sexy and "perfect" sans fur? You need a new advertising agency.
