Daily News reporter Brendan Brosh got the tough assignment of joining the fun: "I strapped on a shiny Santa Claus suit and joined a legion of merrymakers at a secret meeting spot in Queens. The booze began flowing well before the official 10 a.m. start... The Queens chapter was led from the park by a mysterious organizer to a massive loft party. A lady bartender sported a thong. Hipsters sipped from hip flasks. And a deejay in a wizard costume spun everything from hip-hop to reindeer music... Cops eventually crashed the party and told revelers to wrap it up."
