Apologies to our local -isters, but that piece on American Idol and Adam Lambert is so well-written I'd be shocked to see it posted here. And it goes on and on, paragraph after paragraph without typos, misspellings, or bungled syntax. It makes sense. It's not just a bunch of links to other peoples' articles. LAist has at least one writer who actually writes.

I think I'll get an account over there. At least I'll start reading it on occasion.

And I don't have my act together, having typed it's instead of its. Of course, I'm not paid to do this.
