Video: Sarah Palin Surprises Shatner On Tonight Show

For the past few months, William Shatner has been making regular appearances on The Tonight Show to give dramatic readings of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin's words. Since he's read her farewell speech and Tweets, it was natural he'd try his hand at excerpts from her memoir Going Rogue. But there was a surprise after he finished—Palin herself appeared to read from his memoir, Up Till Now.

The Daily News suggests, "Sarah Palin has a sense of humor after all - maybe."

"Memorize"? She was reading from a teleprompter...assuming it was words on the teleprompter screen and not cartoon pictographs.

I have to agree with cucarachita above:she is funny when she knows she'll just be fooling around (SNL comes to mind).

And please...don't say she "surprised" anyone...the whole thing was orchestrated.
