That won’t make 0-18 go away, but New Jersey can’t focus on that. Their next five games are against teams under .500, giving them a chance to finally get on the winning side of the 2009-2010 season. If there are any Nets fans left, they can only hope.
- Orlando 118 Knicks 104: Remember that win against Phoenix? Keep savoring it because the Knicks reverted to their old ways Wednesday. They made the score respectable in the fourth, but they never really competed in this one.
- Vancouver 5 Devils 2: Vancouver jumped out 3-0, but New Jersey battled back to make it 3-2. That was as close as they got because the Canuks scored twice in the third to earn the win and snap the Devils’ win streak.
