- Lakers 106 Nets 87: The coach was new, but the losing wasn’t. New Jersey has now tied the NBA record for losses to open the season. Now it comes down to a game in Dallas on Wednesday to see if they can be record breakers.
- Orlando 114 Knicks 102: Perhaps this is the best loss of the year, but it is still a loss. Orlando pulled away in the second half and sent the Knicks to another loss.
- Jets 17 Carolina 6: They aren’t dead yet. The Jets survived a test from the Panthers to improve to 5-6.
