State Dinner Party Crashers Want Money For Interview

2009_11_obfame.jpg No chance of a Larry King Live revelation tomorrow night from the State Dinner crashers Michaele and Tareq Salahi who still managed to mingle with President Obama. The NY Times reports, "Television industry executives said on Saturday that Michaele and Tareq Salahi had postponed plans for an interview Monday on CNN’s 'Larry King Live' and were seeking top-dollar bids for their first television interview... A television network executive, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the network does not publicly comment on payments, said the couple’s asking price for an interview was in the hundreds of thousands of dollars... Programs quietly pay steep fees for photographs and videos to secure interviews in some cases."

These two are the definition of narcissistic personalities. I hope the Feds bring charges just to knock them off their overly high self-esteem perch.

No worse than the narcissist-in-chief.

You obviously mean Bush Jr. who will go down in history as probably one of the most mentally ill people to occupy the White House (Nixon is in the running as well).

Cheney, yes. Bush, not so much.

If a certain other narcissist named Al Gore had thrown in the towel in his unwinnable election fight a few weeks sooner, Cheney would not have wielded the power that he did.

They should be fined hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Agreed. Find out how much their total assets are and then double it for the fine.

they pull off this stun,t and are now looking to cash-out. what scammers.

They should get locked the fuck up. I wonder if Ol Dirty Bastard could have pulled that off. Easy E did visit the first Bush at the White House... by invitation.

ITA. Why aren't these idiots in jail right now?

I wonder how many journalists would still have jobs if not for the payments going out to douchebags like these and octomom and balloon boy's parents.

Well, they just made it easy with their greedy demands. Throw the book at them and send them to where they can earn 25 cents an hour washing dirty jumpsuits.

Big network "anchors" like Katie Couric make enough each to finance a small news bureau.

Just sayin

More narcisstic "balloon boy" type attention-seekers. It's time for society to end its love affair with shallow celebrityhood and insta-fame.

They should be ARRESTED...then watch how fast they want to be interviewed for FREE. I think we all know what would have happened it they looked differently...

What a perfect fit for Bravo's brain numbing programming. They are just like the families in the prior shows, new money trash that are consumed with trying to establish themselves as part of high society. In this case I would bet they are asking for a high interview price since they owe so many people money..bunch of dead beats

They should get invited to the Kardashian household.

They should be arrested and sent to guantanamo.

Reality TV? Boy, I'd love to see them on Running Man.

the investigation needs to be into the secret service members who let them into the party. they didn't hop the fence, people.
