The Definition of D'Oh: Truck Stuck Under Elevated Subway Tracks

A tipster spotted this truck stuck under the Q train subway station on Avenue J in Midwood this morning around 8:45 a.m. We're told "the truck was all crumpled and the fire department had to come out." We're guessing at this point they're just waiting for a giant stick of butter.

Probably took the tipster to tell the other passers by that something was indeed wrong.

This is not news. Happens every few months or so on Q line down by Ave P.

Also happens regularly on the state parkways (thanks to the Robert Moses overpasses). But it's even better there, because the trucks are going faster. Once I saw one with the roof of the trailer peeled almost completely off, and once on the Southern State where the overpass crosses the parkway diagonally it rolled the truck on its side.
