Barron Guilty Of Disorderly Conduct, Not Happy With DA

A judge found Councilman Charles Barron guilty of disorderly conduct for sitting in the middle of Tillary Street to protest the Sean Bell verdict. Unsurprisingly, the East New York Councilman — a one-time candidate for Brooklyn Borough President who is considering running for Council Speaker against Christine Quinn — had a message for the man responsible for his prosecution. "[Brooklyn District Attorney] Charles Hynes should be ashamed of himself," said Barron, who was sentenced to time-served, which was about six hours according to the Post. "He should not be allowed to come into any black church this Jan. 21 and celebrate Martin Luther King Day."

His MLK Day plans will be ruined!!!

Charles Barron is more white than he is black. Stupid cracker needs to STFU.

Charles Barron is a racist and a communist, who believes the democratic party is "too right wing." It would make me happy to see his political career end the next time he's up on election day, but that won't happen.

  • Yeah, that is what MLK & Jesus would have wanted!

Councilman from East New York? Why doesn't Obama make him ambassador to Somalia. He would feel right at home over there with his homies.

I went to high school with the son of a Somali diplomat. He was a person wise beyond his age, had respect for others and had great dignity. Too bad the warlords and the pirates of that country are not the same. Yes, ship Barron off to deal (associate) with those. Barron does not speak for all blacks, all black churches, all black churchgoers, all those who celebrate MLK Day, or even all those in his district. His is an opinion of one. And a poor one at that.

What was that noise I just heard? Was it Charlie Hynes crying, or was it laughter?
