Former NJ Gov. McGreevey Studies God, Post Mocks Him

2009_06_mcgree.jpg

Former New Jew Governor Jim McGreevy — who resigned from office in 2004 after a homosexual affair — is training to become an Episcopal priest. Take it away, New York Post:

"'Gay American' Jim McGreevey is spending his Sunday mornings with a new man — Jesus."

The tabloid details the former governor's current position assisting Rev. Geoffrey Curtiss at three weekend masses at the All Saints Church in Hoboken as he works towards his Masters of Divinity from the General Theological Seminary. The paper describes the former politician as "noticeably graying," and notes that during services, he "carried the cross during the processional, helped Curtiss bless the Eucharist and helped baptize a group of babies and young children."

What ever happened to the Israeli spy that seduced him for a job with homeland security?

He's apparently a marketing consultant now! http://cipelgolan.com/

I honestly have no problem with gay people. Some of my best friends are gay. Jim may have engaged in adultery (Which greatly displeased me by the way), but what the hell. I forgave him.

What can I say? I'm a soft touch.

This is one instance where a snarky attack by the Post is well deserved. McGreevey disgraced himself and earned every bit of ridicule he gets...not because he's gay, because he's a corrupt dirtbag.

Wouldnt it have been easier if he simply checked into rehab for 30 days, written a book, then gone on Oprah. All of this would have been behind him.

He's kinda reverse-engineered the typical pastor story arc...
