Yesterday, with a bit (a lot) of inspiration from Andrew Sullivan, we asked that you send us your views. Submissions came in from Kensington to Washington Heights... and we'd love to see more. What do you see when you look out the window? Send a photo and location.

Great idea Gothamist. Thanks. But for chrissakes will you update your javascript or whateverthefukk so that page doesn't refresh every time you click next in your pic galleries.
Yeah, they'll do that the day readers start paying them instead of advertisers. By the way, Pirate Radio looks HILARIOUS.
it is hilarious. it's called "the boat that rocked" in the UK. saw it on a BA flight. Hoffman is the best.
Pirate Radio may look hilarious but at the moment I am so irritated by the distracting ad every time I click next that I am disinclined to view the rest of the pictures or see the movie.
Promotion by annoyance doesn't seem such a great idea to me.
Some of these views make me seriously jealous.
Hooray Tim!
re 9 W 57th St.
20 years ago or so I went to job interview at Avon, which was at 9 W 57th (maybe still is). I remember stepping off the elevator into this huge reception area, with a view just like the one here. My interview was with a man named Victor Hugo (not the writer, nor the Warhol artist. Unfortunately there was no view whatsoever in the artist studios behind the scenes.
All I see is another window, a tree, and a brick wall. Thanks for making me hate my apartment even more, Gothamist. :)
I love the Madison St. picture.
I live on the 3rd floor of a brownstone type building so there's other buildings across the street to the south and a view of the 2nd fl. neighbor's huge balcony, fire escape, trees and another building. My camera doesn't have batteries :(
