Man Arrested After "Have Sex With My Wife" Craigslist Ad

2009_11_craigsl.jpg The AP reports that Bronx resident Florian Penev was arrested by Connecticut police who say he "offered strangers paid sex with his wife in an Internet ad has been fined $2,000... Norwalk police say they arrested Penev and his wife, 36-year-old Zdravka Zotkova, in June after officers responded to their Craigslist ad, which offered sex with Zotkova at a Norwalk hotel." Penev pleaded guilty to misdemeanor prostitution conspiracy charge and paid a fine, while his wife "was allowed into a court program that will result in prostitution charges against her being dismissed if she completes it." And why was Penev advertising his wife? He said he lost his job as a graphic designer.

You never ask for money like that -- you as for "tribute".

"Penev was arrested by Connect police"

a) That happened in June. The current news is that he has been sentenced and she has been given an ACD, not that they have been arrested.

b) This all happened in Connecticut, not in Connect.

Jen "I Cut -icut from Connecticut" Chung!

Not as clever as it sounded in my head.

Zdravka Zotkova... what a name.

Too late for the gangbang?

"b) This all happened in Connecticut, not in Connect."

I guess they didn't see pretty woman

I always support you Jen but I have to ask -- is this in English?

Crap, I knew I should have stuck with the "CT"!

Thanks for pointing it out, folks—was rushing to get my H1N1 vaccine.

It was those two keywords, "Sex" and "Connecticut" that alerted the cops.

Times must be tough. Pimping out the wife.

Oh my. Suddenly it all makes sense.

ugh. can that be traced back to me??

Damn, he changed his profile pic. I knew I should have saved a copy, he probably started getting messages from people who visited the page.

Sorry for those of you who didn't get to see it. I'd describe it, but I just don't have the words.

LOL at his "friends" too! Right out of Central Casting!

What a prince! "And why was Penev advertising his wife? He said he lost his job as a graphic designer."

Funny, I've heard that some people seek out male prostitutes. He could have provided this service himself, rather than pimp out his wife. Of course that would still be illegal, but far less misogynistic.

Maybe he was far less attractive.
