  • From the Gothamist Newsmap: A traffic agent struck at 63rd St & 1st Ave, a slashing at 157th St & Sanford Ave in Queens, and a car vs. building at Zoe St.
  • Because of a seasonal flu vaccine shortage, the Health Department is asking that adults (not in the high priority groups) hold off from getting them.

  • Oh, no, a cat in Iowa has been diagnosed with....swine flu.
  • Oh, no, part two: President Obama revealed Malia got a 73 on a science test.

"(Note to parents: In Malia’s defense, the story has a happy ending: she studied hard and came home on Tuesday with a grade of 95.)"

Still, that's pretty fucked up Obama. Nice work airing her dirty laundry

In other news, Nancy Pelosi is working on a bill to classify giving Malia Obama a 73 as a hate crime.

Video of Glenn Beck's appendicitis attack would look like every other show he does where he cries and vomits. Little bitch.

A shortage of flu vaccine again? Seems like this happens every year, and yet there is never a shortage of boner pills or anti-depressants.

Its all about priorities gothamguy. My boner is more important than a human life. Obviously.

Nowhere in the sentence does it say there is shortage.
Because of a seasonal flu vaccine, the Health Department is asking that adults (not in the high priority groups) hold off from getting them.

From the linked article: An unusually high demand for seasonal flu vaccine has caused a shortage at clinics, pharmacies and doctor’s offices, Dr. Thomas A. Farley, the city’s health commissioner, said in a statement.

So while Gothamist may have left one of the main points out of the sentence in a proofreading error, taking the two minutes to click the link and skim it would back up gothamguy's statement.

Thanks—my fault, fixed now...it was a long day for the pregnant lady.

Let me be the first to call BS on the cop for the "accidental" shooting.

And in the crazy-candidate category, a pretend clergyman from California defeats Jimmy McMillan.

Between Rev. Billy, Frances "Make CUNY Free" Villar, and that bowl hat-wearing Libertarian, McMillan received less votes. Fouryears ago, he was the only face on the Third party scene, but now, it's a crowded place.
