Court Orders Jim Nantz To Pay Ex $916,000/Year

After some sad testimony, Jim Nantz, the CBS sportscaster, was ordered to pay his ex-wife $916,000 a year in child support and alimony. According to the AP, "Nantz must pay $72,000 a month in alimony until either he dies or his ex-wife remarries, and another $1,000 week in child support for their 15-year-old daughter, Caroline, for the next two years...Nantz acknowledged that he began dating a 29-year-old woman before his divorce was final." Nantz does make $4 million/year from CBS and has another $3 million in "yearly assets."

It makes no sense that it still does not really exist in this state besides the whole written separation agreement for a year thing.

The best prenup ever written won't mean anything if the marriage lasted for years and produced children. Life's realities will trump a legal contract written many years ago.

like sir paul mccartney said after his most recent divorce from that scab, heather mills, a prenup is just not a "romantic" thing to bring up before you make your supposedly life-long commitment.
