Jets Have Revenge On Mind Vs. Dolphins

Sanchez, after the Dolphins beat the Jets earlier this season
Miami knocked the Jets from the playoffs in Week 17 last season and delivered a 31-27 defeat in South Florida earlier this season. So the Jets, who finally ended a three-game last week against the lowly Raiders, have some extra motivation against the Dolphins at the Meadowlands.

The Jets have stayed on the ground, rushing for 300 yards in two straight games. Mark Sanchez threw only 15 passes last week and completed nine of them. His turnovers cost the Jets at New Orleans and at home against Buffalo, so head coach Rex Ryan has decided to rein him in. Leon Washington, out for the year with a broken leg, will be replaced by Shonn Greene and even more Thomas Jones, who is still going strong thanks to the offensive line.

The Dolphins and their wildcat formation did a wonder on the Jets, and that was before Kris Jenkins was lost for the season. How the Jets adjust will go a long way in determining this outcome. Chad Henne also had a career day on that Monday night. If he comes back to earth, the Jets will be in good shape.
