Queens Man Arrested, Suspected Of Aiding Hezbollah

2009_10_handcuffs.jpg U.S. prosecutors say that two men, including a Queens building super, were indicted for allegedly trying to aid the Hezbollah: "Patrick Nayyar, an Indian citizen living in Queens, and Conrad Stanisclaus Mulholland, a U.K. citizen, have been charged with conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization; providing material support; conspiracy to make a contribution of funds, goods, or services to and for the benefit of Hezbollah; and making a contribution of funds, goods or services." Authorities also claim Nayyar was here illegally, but his lawyer said he is here legally, though his visa may have lapsed, adding he was skeptical of the charges.

"Conrad Stanisclaus Mulholland"? Was this some kind of terrorist plot or a Monty Python sketch?

LOL

Probably works at the Ministry of Silly Walks.

Or he's still trying to find his father.

why did you use a paid subscription link to Wall Street Journal. It left alot of facts out.

"The indictment says Nayyar and accomplice Conrad Mulholland provided one handgun, a box of ammunition and a pickup truck, believing the items would be delivered to Hezbollah in Lebanon."

provided a pickup truck, ONE gun and ONE box of ammunition. the buyer then says during the transaction im sending this to Hezbollah, come on? by Fedex? a pickup truck come on....this is news, this is invented war on terror theatre?

sounds more like the guy thought he was selling a used car and threw in a shady deal for a gun&ammo because the guy asked for it or he wanted to play the 'i can get you anything' role, should have asked for coke, but petty drug busts dont make the news.

our country is in a sorry state of affairs, if your Adnam Khashoggi then you can broker billion dollar arms deals and live in a fifth avenue high rise overlooking st. patricks cathedral and the doorman tips his hat to you every morning, but any guy selling post it notes and printer cartridges to someone who says its being shipped to Hezbollah is public enemy #1...what a rip off.

the war on terror is based on stupid people falling for stupid things hatched up by the cops themselves.
