Woman, Boyfriend Charged In Death Of Her 4-Year-Old Son

2009_10_jlen.jpg After deciding a 4-year-old Brooklyn boy's Friday death was suspicious, due to the bruising on his body, police have now charged his mother and her boyfriend with second-degree murder. Myrna Chen Phang, 25, and Steven Dadaille, 26, allegedly beat little Jayden Lenescar for two days, using their fists, a clothes hanger and belt. The boy's grieving father Mackenzy Lenescar said, "The only way I will feel anything is if someone could bring my son back."

Phang had called 911 on Friday afternoon, because Jayden was unconscious; he was later pronounced dead at the hospital. According to the Daily News, "Phang and Dadaille... implicated each other in the child's ghastly death, according to sources. Each gave finger-pointing written and video statements asserting their innocence and blaming the other before police charged both of them with the murder, sources said." However, Dadaille told reporters, as he was being escorted from the precinct, "I didn't kill no baby."

Police had initially questioned Lenescar, but determined he was not involved. He tells the News he last saw his son two weeks ago and, according to the Post, attempted to speak with his son on the phone on Thursday night, but Phang claimed he was sleeping. He said, "He was only 4 years old. We didn't have enough time together. He was a quiet boy. He was a good boy. He didn't deserve this." And his sister was shocked, "I can't understand it. Myrna's a good mother, I can't think that anything would get her so mad that she'd beat him like that."

The boyfriend, always the boyfriend,

Yet another trashy Oriental woman making the news...

Double-negative grammar implication: check.

"Good mother" statement by relative: check.

and they will keep reproducing and killing...

only winners in this is the environment. one less person to strain the finite resource world. maybe Darwin smiled too.

You see, this is what happens when you stray and decide to hang with Negroes. This reminds me of a case in East Harlem about eight years ago where an Oriental girl and her Negro boyfriend murdered her parents because they didn't approve of their relationship...

I think you have a problem with black people huh?? The girl is not oriental she is BLACK & there are a lot of blacks that LOVE their family. Don't put a lable on all black people!! There are a lot of white people that have been charged with the same crime. How about we just say that there are crazy PEOPLE out there that are doing crazy things not just one race of people. It's 2009 get a clue & stope being a racist!

Yeah, because only Black people beat children to death?

why is it always the young mother and her flavor-of-the-year live-in boyfriend/husband?

Not too often you see an asian woman with a black man.

Some people are not parents material. Wear protection if you do the deed.

actually it's quite common. it's the other way around that it is not.

So what you are saying is, Asian girls like BBC, but Black women don't like LAC ?

This is heartbreaking. He was an innocenrt child.

"I didn't kill no baby." Soooo, you did. We have a confession, people!

Sickening. Lock those two away forever.

Fucking scumbags.
"I didn't kill no baby"
Indeed, genius.

To the above people that is saying "oriental" girl. She in NOT oriental. There are a lot of black people that have asian names. Did you not see the girl on the news. If your great grandfather or any before him was born in an Asian country & had a bi racial child & so on & so on. Your name is still the same just means that you had a great great grandfather from an Asian country but you are still BLACK

Only racist one-droppers look for drops of Black blood in biracial people so that they can be properly labeled and defined.

Hey Gothamist, this would have been a tasteful place to put a photo-shopped picture of a dead rat in jail. I'm just saying.
