Jeffry Picower, the friend of Bernard Madoff who allegedly saw up to a 950% return on his investments with the Ponzi schemer and was being sued for $7 billions in clawbacks, was found dead in his Palm Beach home. The AP reports, "The Palm Beach Police Department said Picower was found at the bottom of his Palm Beach home's pool Sunday afternoon by his wife and could not be revived by Palm Beach fire rescue workers."

Fixed.
he was better off alive than dead. not that he was a good guy or anything, but he could have spilled some beans as to how things worked out. now that he is a goner, who did it? c'mon, he killed himself? haha. yeah, tell me another one. his wife? maybe. or people who'd rather have him dead so that the road to knowledge leads to more dead ends?
Another casualty. He knew too much. Either he self destructed or there was foul play. The tragedy continues.
I'm betting on Russians or Isrealis.
You spelled Rushens wrong.
My money is on suicide. There was no signs of trauma, so I am thinking he drugged himself up and jumped in. The thought of having to give up all his money was probably too much for him.
Agreed.
This is straight out of a movie. It's sad how people think money and all the material things makes them happy.
Yes, dead men tell no tales, however it IS a smart move on his part. Why spend your remaining years in litigation and in prison...
What a piece of garbage.
First a crook then a suicide.
What a chicken.
Hope his family is disgusted by his memory.
"He saw up to a 950% return" on his investment, and yet he's literally underwater.
He was such a good kid. He was going back to school to earn his degree and all of a sudden this Jewish thing happened.
I just heard that the tile around the pool was recently waxed. And the owner was also. Accidents happen to the nicest people.
To all those people that responded to NannyStates' previous remarks in a negative way let me say that you people do not have a clue what is going on in this blog. If you want to say something positive or negative say it intelligently. For me NannyState is a refreshing note in a mostly cacophonic symphony of comments.
What Jewish thing?
