2009_10_shotgun.jpg The Post reports, "The NYPD's entire fleet of Highway Patrol officers was pulled from their posts and rushed to a Bronx firing range yesterday because of a malfunction discovered with their shotguns, sources said." The malfunction, discovered a training session at the firing range, involves "problems with the firing pin that prevented the gun from discharging" and "All 75 Mossberg 590A1 shotguns had to be turned in for the older Ithaca 37s."

Mossbergs are junk

The mayor should dip into his millions and buy Benellis for the whole police force

remember when John Lennon bought flak jackets for the NYPD....

Benelli? No.

Wilson Combat (Scattergun Technologies) or FN.

No the Benelli M4 is better than the Wilson

Just ask the British Army they chose it for their arsenal

The NYPD is the agency that managed to break the Glock.

The NYPD didn't issue speedloaders for revolvers until the late 1980's, and didn't issue semiautomatics until the 1990's.

The NYPD still uses typewriters.

It's no surprise they managed to break the Mossberg.

85 million would have bought more than a handful of Model 870s hear me Mister Mayor..putz
