  • From the Gothamist Newsmap: Shots fired on W 121 St in Manhattan, a MVA on Central Pkwy & Queens Blvd in Queens and a bank robbery at West Chester & Simpson in the Bronx.
  • Prosecutors say that Bernard Kerik helped fake the home renovations bills for his home—they say former police commissioner got about $250,000 in work done for basically free.
  • The father of the girl killed in the car crash, while being driven by the allegedly drunk mom of a friend, doesn't think manslaughter charges are enough, "Anyone who gets behind the wheel of a car while intoxicated might as well put a bullet in a gun."

  • A 12-year-old was arrested—and his slightly older cohorts are wanted— after mugging an 11-year-old of his $5 and cellphone in Manhattan. A second 11-year-old refused, prompting one of the muggers to hit him; a doorman caught the 12-year-old.
  • After the mousecake incident, the Health Department has inspected Junior's Restaurant and given it a passing score.
