The Jewelry Designer, is her stuff any good?

Please, I beg of you, stop writing "a fatal pedestrian struck".

In this instance fatal is an adjective modifying pedestrian, which makes no sense at all. What you should do is write "a pedestrian fatally struck", using fatally as an adverb to modify the verb struck. That makes sense.

Thank you for your consideration.

Jen is overworked and doesn't get much sleep. Give her a break.

I'm using the lingo straight from the Newsmap http://gothamist.com/map
which is the terminology from the scanners.
