Warm And Warmerer

wxchsfc102109.jpg A quick look at the local National Weather Service website shows no watches, warnings, or advisories anywhere in the forecast zone. The lack of weather action is courtesy of a high pressure over the Tennessee Valley that is slowly moving eastward. That will bring mostly sunny skies and a high near 70 today in the Big Apple. Tomorrow promises to be even warmer as the high pulls warm air up from the Gulf of Mexico. Look for highs in the mid 70s.

Warm weather crashes to an end with the passage of a cold front Thursday night. Friday looks to be overcast, with perhaps a sprinkle in the afternoon. A high the mid 50s is expected.

Rain sadly arrives late Friday and probably all day Saturday. It's an intersting rain though, as much of the moisture will be blown up from the remnants of former monster hurricane Rick, which is currenty hitting the west coast of Mexico. Sunshine should return on Sunday.

I love the line "it's an interesting rain though" and it wasn't until I was retyping it that I noticed the typo. Still, I don't know why, just love that line.
