Madoff Filled Office With Drugs, Now Sleeps In Bottom Bunk At Prison

2009_10_madoffb.jpg First, he was making friends with the gay inmates. Next, he's got into a fight with another old inmate. Now, in the latest installment from the unofficial Post series "The Prison Life and Times of Bernard Madoff," we learn that the Ponzi king "now shares a cell with a 21-year-old inmate convicted of drug crimes...sleeps in the lower bunk and he eats pizza cooked by an inmate convicted of child molestation" and his "recreation consists of walking around the prison track at night."

Those quotes are from court papers supporting a lawsuit filed by Madoff's victims. Lawyers who visited the 71-year-old also say, "he now spends time with former Colombo crime family boss Carmine Persico and Jonathan Pollard, who was convicted of spying for Israel...Most of his fellow inmates are in prison for drug crimes or sex crimes, and Madoff will spend the rest of his life in prison with them."

Oh, and there's more: The court papers also claim that Madoff's office was full of drugs and topless women. Heck, his office was even allegedly nicknamed "the North Pole!" Madoff apparently had "a longtime employee and office messenger to obtain drugs for himself and the company... Eventually, the main employee supplier was fired for his drug abuse when cocaine and other undisclosed drugs were found in his desk in 2003. Madoff worried that it might bring in drug prosecutors who might uncover the big scam."

"was full of drugs and topless women. "

If I was worth Billions working in Finance, my office would probably look the same too, but I'd have a pull out bed complete with hookers & blow.

Its madness to not snort blow off a hooker's chest, so its best to to keep one handy nearby.

i can only imagine what the child molester inmate is doing to all that warm, gooey, sexy pizza.

I bet the pepperoni reminds him of Ruth!

Reads like Vonnegut's Jailbird.

"warm, gooey, sexy pizza"

i think i need to ride the G train now.

we're apparently obsessed, just make a reality show about it already, jesus.

Still waiting for the biographic Hollywood movie about Bernard Madoff.
