It's no "Keep fucking that chicken" but we'll take it: On tonight's 6 p.m. Eyewitness News broadcast, anchor Bill Ritter was discussing how former police commissioner Bernard Kerik was headed to jail. Unfortunately, the words "top cop" came out "top cock." Really—watch for yourself:
Ritter caught his mistake; the Daily News describes, "The 59-year-old co-anchor realized he flubbed, but looking unflustered immediately bobbed his head and uttered a cleaned-up instant replay, saying 'former New York City top cop.'" He also told the News, "I stumbled. It was a quick mistake, and I corrected it immediately."
And this comes 31 days after we wondered when someone from WABC would make an on-air gaffe.

Nightly news retains its relevance for just a little bit longer!!!
I had no idea Bill Ritter was that old.
Some chick on Fox News suffered the same Freudian slip a few years ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLkQeuU1LmM
now we know which part of craigslist HE'S been reading lately...
He was the top dick, wasn't he?
Apropos.
His new pals in prison will verify.

hahaha my boyfriend and I were watching the news last night and heard this but both of us weren't sure thats what we really heard.
Maybe Ritter knows something we don't know and wanted to share?
I'm sorry, was this misposted from the college humor section of the site?
I'm sorry, but who are these people who sit around videotaping their televisions?
It's called DVR, built specifically for replaying newscaster bloopers and putting them on YouTube.
