Gotti Juror Excused Because Of Botched Trade

2009_10_stockticker.jpg Another juror in John Gotti Jr.'s racketeering trial was released—because his subordinate lost him money! The Post reports that the "hedge-fund manager...complained that he had lost a 'significant' bundle of dough when a subordinate 'misconstrued' his trading instructions last week." The judge allowed him to leave, adding, "I'm sorry you experienced the loss. I feel some responsibility for that myself." And there's more juror unrest: They are unhappy with the limited food options AND a cold breeze blowing on the juror box.

Heh. My fiance has been on call for grand jury duty for like four years now and he keeps having to defer because his completely insane hedge fund manager boss won't let him even take a tiny risk of having to do jury duty every day for a month. Fortunately for them both, the grand jury people don't seem to have noticed that he's deferred like 9 times now.

Jurors are the biggest friggin' whiners. Bwah, I lost a few hundred million because my subordinate didn't understand my instruction while I was here on jury duty! BWAH!

I bet Gotti could help that juror "rebalance his portfolio".
