Bloomberg On Defensive After Giuilani's "Supporting" Remarks

After accusations that former Mayor Rudy Giuliani was race-baiting while touting Mayor Bloomberg for re-election , the incumbent candidate tried to address the issue. Bloomberg said, "I am phenomenally proud of our record of bringing people together from all neighborhoods and every community. And I think we’ve successfully resisted attempts to divide the city... For the past eight years, I’ve worked well with virtually everyone. I don’t point fingers. I try to lower the volume, the temperature, and not raise it. I’m not going to try to raise it now."

On Sunday, Giuliani had told the Jewish audience in Borough Park, "I worry daily that the city might be turned back to the way it was, to the way it was before 1993. And you know exactly what I’m talking about... This city could very easily be taken back in a very different direction — it could very easily be taken back to the way it was with the wrong political leadership." A number of Democratic lawmakers condemned the remarks, but Patrolmen's Benevolent Association president Patrick Lynch said, "In a campaign, you’ve got a number of different people with a number of different opinions. You don’t always agree with everyone that endorses you."

Giuliani told the Post his comments were valid, "There are books that have been written about this, about how difficult things were, how bad the city was, about how a lot of the programs I started ... turned the city around." But former Mayor David Dinkins—you know, the pre-1993 mayor—said, "I think it is exceedingly unfortunate that Rudy made those comments in the particular community in which he made those remarks, it's sad. He seems to forget that crime started to go down in 1991 under me and [then-Police Commissioner] Ray Kelly."

look how hairy giuliani is, I never knew you could have that much hair on the back of your hands.

Giuliani is renowned for taking credit for every success, whether he was responsible or not.

Dinkins was right. The Dems in Congress gave loads of money in the early 90s to the City to fight crime. By the time it kicked in with Kelly, Giuliani was inaugurated and took the credit. Just like he tried to take credit for Bratton's success, before firing Bratton for getting the credit!

Giuliani is a weasel.

Bloomberg should tell Giuliani to go away. What constituency can Rudy deliver that Bloomberg doesn't already have wrapped up? Is the angry white guy or the law and order crowd going to vote for Thompson? No way.

1.
FYI: the "NY" giants are from NJ. There's nothing about them that's NY, but people believe whatever the media says.

2.
Only the most uneducated law and order guy supports Tax Hike Mike, who STILL pays cops and firemen one fifth what Bloombag pays junior press aides who's only job duty is to deceive taxpayers.

FACT:
almost every crime committed in NYC is the direct fault of Bloombag: his Dept of "Corrections" (world's most expensive and world's most unsuccessful) itself claims it fails to "correct" 90% of criminals. It just DUMPS THEM BACK ON THE STREET with no effort at any rehabilitation.

EVEN WORSE, Team Bloombag says that 75% of these criminals they "corrected" actually go on to MORE SERIOUS crime after being "corrected"!

Shall I go on?

FACT:
Tax Hike Mike said he despises democracy and that voters should NOT be allowed to legalize medical marijuana (yet Mike says he smoked pot and loved it).

YET 100% of criminologists concede that the War On Drugs is responsible for half the crime in America.

Almost every cop murdered was killed by a weapon purchased with profits from PROHIBITION PART TWO. |

(What... you thought teenagers bought guns with money they saved up working at Burger King???)

SHALL I GO ON?

I'll gladly list tens of thousands of other Bloombag scandals the media find boring, like Mike BEGGING Bernie Kerik to be Mike's police commish! (Lucky for us Bernie went off to make millions with Rudy The Bloodsucker of 9/11.)

Hey, didn't 100% of the media praise Kerik when he was in power?

The SAME media that now tells us Mike has been as great as they told us Bernie had been?

HMM!
WORST MAYOR EVER.

ALL law and order guys should vote Thompson.

UNDER 8 YEARS OF TAX HIKE MIKE, CRIME HAS EXPLODED, but the media deceives us.

EX:
white collar crime! (does that not count? Madoff alone ruined more lives than every single blue collar theif in US history combined!)

EX:
Identity theft! (Does that not count as crime?)

Is there more now or BEFORE Mike saved us?

EX:
etching acid graffiti is the worst kind ever and it's NEVER BEEN WORSE. Ditto scratchiti.

EX:
record numbers of NYPD are being arrested for murders, rapes---hell, a 14-year-veteran just went to jail for pimping out a 13 year old girl!

THIS IS WHAT 8 YEARS OF MIKE HAS GIVE US.

EX:
I'll take you outside and show you over 500 MILLION graffiti tagging crimes in just the last year.

But ZERO of those crime enter City Hall's MAGICAL CRIME STATS.

Shall I go on?

This year alone over 4 young kids were shot by stray bullets. Sound familiar?

WORST MAYOR EVER.

What are they laughing about that's so damn funny? I cannot believe we're in for 20 years of our City being run by these schmucks.

Look at it. That's not Bloomberg's laughing face. That his "How do I get rid of this guy" face.

bloomberg looks like he could use a bit more fiber in his diet.

Yankel Rosenbaum could not be reached for comment

gavin cato also can't be reached, that's if a child can comment in this matter.
how bout bernie goetz?

Dinkins is right. If you actually look at the record, most anti-crime policies that Giuliani takes credit for were actually put in place during the Dinkins administration. But conservatives don't want to give a black man credit and liberals would rather portray an Italian republican as the devil rather than a black man. So we get the narrative we have now.

Crime went up under Giuilani if you count Ray Harding and Bernie Kerik.

Ghouliani didnt bring anybody together,
remember he described the victim of a police shooting as no alter boy and revealed sealed court records.

well yeah rudy he actually was an alter boy!

his wife also killed puppies, its true look it up!

ive seen dinkins and koch walking on the streets,
ive seen ghouliani walking with an entourage and his pug faced wife every single time, hes a nasty disgusting human being who doesnt care about people, just like bloombum.

9/11 saved Giuliani's career. I'm sure he, like our government and Mossad, had nothing to do with it.
