Cute Overload: Cats And Dog Reign At The Javits Center

As we mentioned last week, the first annual Meet the Breed event—featuring 160 purebred breeds of dogs and 41 purebred breeds of cats—was held at the Javits Center. And people weren't able to walk a foot without in any direction without saying, "Awwww." Enjoy these photographs by Katie Sokoler.

i took my cat to a cat show once. it was at madison square garden and i entered him in the Jonny Cat looklike contest. I'm pretty sure he never forgave me.

Are those chocolate Newfie's snorgled up with that little kid?! Squee. Just squee.

Yeah, the kid is part of the family who was running the Newfoundland booth. They were all sleeping together when I passed by, too.
